Finding Work in New Zealand
  • There are often New Zealand tourism job vacancies listed on the FourCorners jobs page.
  • Employment vacancies are also published in major newspapers each week (usually on Saturday and/or Wednesday)
  • Most recent vacancies are advertised online. New Zealand has several top job websites, as well as many industry-specific ones. Try a Google search for 'New Zealand employment vacancies'.
  • Many visitors arrive intending to work on the New Zealand ski areas. There are many opportunities for workers on New Zealand ski areas, but it is also a very popular choice - so you should apply well in advance of your arrival. Almost all ski areas in New Zealand have a website with an employment section on it. Visit your preferred ski area's website to find out about upcoming vacancies, application closure dates, and to find the contact details of the relevant people.

Skilled Migrants

The New Zealand Immigration Service also offers a Skilled Migrants category for overseas visitors looking to stay in New Zealand long term, and who have specific job skills.
