    • Dunedin International Airport welcomes direct flights from Sydney and Brisbane, as well as from New Zealand's primary airport hubs: Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Dunedin Airport is actually located near Mosgiel - 30km south of Dunedin city.

    • There is no regular passenger train service in Dunedin. The Taieri Gorge Railway is a scenic rail journey that starts in Dunedin and stops in several regional towns including Palmerston, Pukerangi, Wingatui and Middlemarch.
  • Travel by Bus
    • A wide range of local, national, regional and backpacker buses and shuttles visit Dunedin daily. Transport between Dunedin and the popular destinations of Queenstown and Christchurch is regular and easy to arrange.
