Want to experience some of New Zealand’s greatest musical talent performing iconic classics amid the country’s most beautiful and picturesque wineries? The line-up, venues and dates for New Zealand’s much loved annual Winery Tour have been announced, with early bird tickets released today.

Whether you’re a local looking to add some home-grown beats to you summer break, or you’re planning a vacation to New Zealand early next year, The Winery Tour 2015 offers an incredible, laid-back musical experience like no other. This year, two of Aotearoa’s most iconic musicians will headline, performing together in a spectacular set full of Kiwi hits.

Dave Dobbyn and Don McGlashan are supreme songwriters who have chronicled what it is to be a New Zealander over more than 30 years. Between them they have won five prestigious APRA Silver Scroll awards for Song of the Year, and they each have multiple hit albums between their solo releases, Th’ Dudes, The Front Lawn, DD Smash, Blam Blam Blam and the Mutton Birds.

Dobbyn and McGlashan will be joined by funk rock legends Supergroove, featuring Che Fu, and folk pop songstress Anika Moa.

Now in its 9th year, the Winery Tour will play nine shows in nine wineries around New Zealand in 2015 between late January and the start of March. Co-promoter Campbell Smith says the tour promises concertgoers a unique and unforgettable experience:

”This tour is about great NZ music, great NZ wine and food, stunning locations and the warm and balmy nights of summer. It’s all about feeling good with friends and family, kicking off your shoes, having a wine or two, a dance and singing along. And for the 2015 Winery Tour we believe that we have one of the greatest line-ups of talent we have ever put together, to play in the best wineries in the country.”
