Cruise Season Kicks Off In Wellington

The arrival of Royal Caribbean’s Radiance of the Seas in Wellington marks the start of cruise season today.

The 2500-capacity ship, which boasts a poolside movie screen among other on-board features, is the first of 80 cruise ships visiting Wellington over the coming seven months.

Additional luxury liners arriving into CentrePort Wellington include:

  • Silver Discoverer
  • Crystal Serenity
  • Deutschland
  • MV Marina
  • Aurora
  • Queen Victoria
  • Queen Mary 2

International cruise ships will also be arriving into Auckland, Tauranga, Picton, Christchurch, Akaroa, Dunedin, Nelson, Timaru and additional local ports over the coming months.
